On October 31, a plant fair took place in the settlement of Sarata, Ukraine. Organized by the public organization Zlaga under the leadership of resident Olha Neboha, the event was held in the Shpakivnya square. Participants arrived from Kamchik, Ariz, Izmail, Plakhitivka, and other Bessarabia towns to display their work.[1]
Visitors found decorative plants, saplings, homemade baking, natural soap, books, jewelry, and wooden crafts. One artisan from Plakhitivka, Valeriia Pysarolko, sold natural cosmetics in the form of soap. She explained that the base for the soap consists of plant oils, where the lye is mixed beforehand with water or milk. Different types of soap use various natural additives such as clay, poppy seeds, coffee, and coconut flakes.[1]
The gathering emphasized mutual exchange of love and creativity. Attendees noted the special atmosphere filled with music, plants, and people, creating a sense of peace and joy. The event allowed for trading creative works, culinary products, and items grown on Bessarabian land.[1]
