How we publish.
Curiosity is the starting point. Attribution, useful detail and honest labels are the foundations.
Original summaries, original voices.
Our AI-written English stories summarise and connect source material; they are not authorised translations or reproductions. Each article links directly to the publication and keeps its original-language title. A source link is an invitation to read further, not a claim of partnership or endorsement.
Three editions each week.
Scheduled crawls on Monday, Wednesday and Friday search all five areas: herring and fish, sausage, wine, cheese and butter, and gardening. Relevant internal links enter a persistent queue for deeper exploration. Requests are rate limited and robots.txt is respected. Blocked pages and paywalls are not bypassed.
We publish only when usable source material and validation checks are available. A quiet category can remain quiet rather than receive invented news. Source discoveries, evergreen guides and dated news are labelled separately. The source notebook exposes actual crawl results.
Make it, find it.
Practical article panels connect readers with preparation references and ways to seek out ingredients or finished products. Preserved fish, meat curing, raw dairy and home canning deserve particular care. Cultural descriptions are not safety-tested recipes; for risky methods, follow the linked tested food-preservation guidance and the original complete instructions.
Pictures and places.
Our launch photographs are AI-created editorial illustrations. They do not document a real event, maker, market or specific regional dish. We do not copy publishers’ photographs. Future licensed documentary images will carry their own credits.
Corrections and contributions.
Use Around the table to share a correction and the source supporting it. Reader contributions are held for review. We can correct or remove unsupported information. Festival dates, stock, shipping and opening hours can change; check the organiser or seller before travelling or ordering.
Advertising.
There are no advertising or affiliate placements at launch. If introduced later, paid placements will be clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial judgement.
